MikvaTech Pool Purity Ltd. ("MikvaTech," "we," "us," or "our"), located at 11 Beit HaDfus St., Jerusalem 9548311, Israel, operates the MikvaTech mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is processed when you use the App to monitor and control your MikvaTech water-purification devices.
We are committed to protecting your privacy. This policy is intended to describe the information the App and our servers may process, why it is processed, and how it is protected.
The App may use an activation code, account identifier, customer identifier, or similar credential provided by MikvaTech to associate the App with authorized MikvaTech devices and to authenticate access. The App is not intended to require unnecessary personal profile information.
The App and connected MikvaTech devices may process and transmit operational information needed to provide remote monitoring and control. Depending on the installed system and enabled features, this may include device status, motor current, runtime, schedules, operating settings, error or alarm information, firmware information, connectivity status, and similar technical data.
To establish and maintain a stable and secure connection between the App, connected devices, and our servers, certain technical information may be processed automatically. This may include IP address, session or authentication tokens, device or installation identifiers, push-notification tokens, connection information, and technical or diagnostic logs where required for security, troubleshooting, notifications, or reliable operation.
If the App is used to configure a MikvaTech device for Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi credentials may be handled temporarily as necessary to connect that device to the selected network. MikvaTech does not intend to use Wi-Fi credentials for advertising or tracking. The implementation should be configured so that Wi-Fi passwords are not retained on MikvaTech's cloud servers unless technically necessary and specifically disclosed.
Unless a feature of the App specifically requires it and the user is informed, the App is not intended to collect:
The App is not intended to use third-party advertising or tracking services. If analytics, crash-reporting, push-notification, or other third-party services are added or used, this Privacy Policy and the applicable Apple App Privacy and Google Play Data Safety disclosures should be updated to accurately reflect those services.
Information processed through the App is used only as reasonably necessary to:
Device operational data and related technical information may be stored on MikvaTech-controlled or contracted cloud infrastructure for the period reasonably necessary to operate, secure, support, and maintain the service. Authentication or session information may also be stored locally on the user's device as necessary to keep the user signed in.
We use reasonable technical and organizational safeguards designed to protect information transmitted between the App, connected devices, and our servers. No internet-connected system can be guaranteed to be completely secure.
MikvaTech does not sell personal information or device operational data. Information may be processed by service providers that host, secure, support, or deliver functionality for the App, solely as needed to provide those services to MikvaTech. Information may also be disclosed where required by applicable law or to protect the security, rights, or safety of MikvaTech, our users, or others.
If third-party cloud, notification, analytics, or diagnostic providers are used, their involvement should be reflected in the App's store disclosures and, where appropriate, in this Privacy Policy.
Depending on the information associated with your account or installation and applicable law, you may contact MikvaTech to request information about data associated with your account or device, request correction or deletion where applicable, or raise a privacy-related question or concern.
Rights and exceptions may vary depending on your location and the type of information involved. Requests will be handled in accordance with applicable law.
The App is intended for use by adults and authorized personnel responsible for managing MikvaTech water-purification equipment. It is not directed to children, and MikvaTech does not knowingly seek to collect personal information from children through the App.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the App, connected services, legal requirements, or our practices. When we make changes, we will update the Effective Date shown at the top of this policy. We encourage users to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
